Yahoo Adds Fingerprint Recognition Feature To Yahoo Mail App

In the wake of growing hacking attacks, Yahoo has made Finger Print Recognition Update to its Yahoo Mail App for Android. This has been done to increase its security.

 “Yahoo Mail Update will be available on Play Store”, Android Police said.

Because of this update, Yahoo Mail App users can now access their Yahoo Mail App with the Fingerprint scanner on their smartphone.

If you are a Yahoo user, you can set a custom password for your Yahoo Mail App on your Android phone.

Some other changes that you can make to your Android phone with the help of this App include you can edit your account information from your Yahoo Mail App.

Yahoo has added a new Preview Tab to Yahoo Mail App that will show to user links or Videos in the Application itself.

Yahoo has made this update at a time when it is facing Scrutiny over a worst Cyber-attack of the entire webmail history.     The attack exposed email credentials of over 500 million users.

The attack is considered a serious blow to Verizon, which is Yahoo’s new parent company. Verizon is in the process of acquiring Yahoo against a deal of $5 billion.

Yahoo claims that it has over 1 billion monthly users over its multitude of services.
