How To Create A Safe Senders List In Gmail

Some emails from unknown senders that Gmail recognizes as a threat to the safety of your account are sent to spam folder. Sometimes due to over activity some genuine mails also get marked as suspicious and are hence automatically moved into the trash folder.

Sometimes we manually renew mails to check the important ones in the spam folder but at times we forget to look into spam folder. This may have a serious consequences on our job, education and business etc.

Your college principal may not then listen to your excuses that that his/her mail had moved into your spam folder. Suppose an email related to an important deal landed in your spam folder about a month ago and you came to know about it today when the deal is already over.

So it is vital for you to sort out the contacts of your most trusted safe senders and create a list of safe senders so that their mails should not be marked as spam by Gmail.But there are cases where you want to block someone to send you mail to do so you can use block/unblock feature of gmail.

You must be aware about the Microsoft outlook filters that filters emails to prevent important emails from moving into spam folder. Similarly Gmail has also some special filters that prevents emails from safe senders from moving into spam folder.

Steps to create safe sender list in Gmail:

Select contacts from the options on the left side of the Gmail Inbox.

Select Create Contact on the top menu.

Click on add icon to add the email id in safe sender list.

All Done,Now your email id is added in safe sender list.
